Ragdoll Cat – who say’s they are defenseless?

Ragdoll cats are large, sweet, docile cats that some say can’t defend themselves. Yeah right. This is a clip of my grandmother’s cat, and she is a sweet loving cat, but make the sound of a dog panting, and she gets fiesty. We are playing in these clips, she usually start it with me, but I had to get it on camera. She has huge mits, and can hit very hard for a cat, and although she is quite a boxer, look toward the end of the last clip, she can ground and pound. Yes, that’s my blood. I love that cat.

Wow she is certainly a feisty one! The girls tend to be, more so than the males… but my female Ragdoll is nowhere near as feisty as your grandmothers!
My male is just a big baby, so sweet wouldn’t hurt a fly lol.

I love my male Ragdoll but he is such a woose and a Big Bully. He will only fight with the poor and decrepid, like the old blind cat 3 fields away and every spring I find him taking newborn hairless baby birds out the nest and laying them on my door step. I can’t tell you how many baby bird rescues I have done. Mean ol’ putty tat!

OHH. I read the description wrong, and thought it said “She makes the sound of a dog panting” I was going to say “it’s blatantly not her making that sound” but I realised I was being an idiot :P

@fizzletto3 The sound of a dog panting gets her so fired up! It’s all in play, and she knows it even if it looks serious. If she’ had enough she lets me know and I stop. If I’ve had enough, well, she doesn’t care. :D
